Default Fuel pump cover???

Stuck on something and need a little info please. 1991 C2 RHD.

My fuel pump cover was rusty so I bought a new one. The parts diagram showed the part number as 964-504-231-00. When that part arrived it doesn't fit, as the middle of the cover needs to sit lower than the sides, to allow for the fuel pump and hoses etc hanging below the floor. The cover I received almost looks like it is in reverse, like it is pressed for a fuel pump on the right side of the car - mine is on the left passenger side. See photo.

The parts diagram doesnt give a LHD and RHD option, just one part number.

Question: do LHD cars have the fuel pump on the right side?

Question: does anyone have he part number for a cover that fits the left side for a RHD car?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, there are LHD and RHD versions. The RHD one is 964 504 232 00. It has /RL next to it

I have a saved offline ‘E PDF Katalog’ that I have used for well over 10 years. Where did you find yours?

You beat me to it John...

So just to be helpful, here's a newer catalog that has both parts listed.
