Getting a lot of little backfiring
on decelleration. Just little rumbles backfiring mainly. No big booms. Haven't really notice it to this extent.
Had a great drive tonight though. It is 70ish and perfect convertible weather. Man, I have not driven the red car in a while and I have to say it is great and love that G-Pipe sound.
Anyway, is the little mini backfires probably sign I am running too lean or cause for concern. I wish the Lenz dude would hurry and get my new system installed.

New G-pipe...exhaust leak evident at the joint between your primary muffler and G-pipe.
I'll lay $$$$$$ on that one.
Under decel, cold air is sucked in through the leak, into the hot exhaust system components, causing burbles and backfires, see AND hear it all the time - even on MY 964.

Burbles and backfiring is a perfect description. Thank you. I kind of like the way it sounds. I am just a little paranoid that I might blow a hole in my muffler. Is that possible or am I good to go. Would you have this fixed immediately I guess is the question I am asking, especially if you like the sound.

Little ones = OK...BIG ones...NOT OK.
The main issue is if the "explosions" get big enough to blow apart your Primary muffler...which I don't believe is an issue, unless they get pretty big.
I've seen SEVERAL B&B mufflers do this, but years ago...none recently.
