What do you mean by 'seal' after the detail?

I imagine a good ceramic coating would help preserve it as it, but i’ll probably want to add to the patina naturally as i use it.

I know a ‘67 911S in aga blue that had amazing patina. Supposedly the owner just wiped it down with a dry rag after every run. Don't know if it’s true, but the patina was perfect on that car.

Looks awesome. Makes me want to do a drivers side Pole Position, but would need to be recovered to match my Marine Blue interior.

Very nicely preserved and updated but I'd be reluctant to describe as patinated .... JMO , Bert

You could be right. I’ve never seen the car in person so I’ll let you know in 2 weeks when i finally have it in hand, but there is def some patina in the paint work.

My 964 finally arrived last night! All I can say is, Incredible!!! I've owned and driven a bunch of these cars, stock, modified, Euro RS, etc. This one is by far the best I've driven. Motor is extremely strong, midweight flywheel makes it rev happy and the suspension is sublime! The car handles like its on rails, reminds me of the 997 GT3 I owned previously......and against popular opinion, we used mostly rubber bushings and stuck with stock sway bars. More details and better pics when we get some sun! Until then, back on the road

Looks good !

Curious on your "mid weight flywheel". Is that different from the RS flywheel and if yes why did you go that route ?

it’s kinda an in between. Not as light as RS but also not as noisy, no stalling concerns

Thanks, where did you get that ? Is this a Porsche part or aftermarket?

Thanks, I am a little hesitant on the RS flywheel. Both the RS I tried were not that easy to drive around town but I was not sure why that was. I have zero issue with my 997GT3RS though.
