DISTRIBUTOR HELP NEEDED!

Sorry, forgot to mention that. The secondary distributor (not attached to the shaft with the gear) has a c-clip, or snap ring, that is attached on the base. That snap-ring holds the rotor shaft into the body of the distributor. I tried to pry it off, but needed the pliers to get it out, then to get it back on again when I was reassembling everything. That snap-ring was probably the hardest thing to get back on, only because it's a tight fit.
Aligning the belt is not too hard since you can see the cogs and the woodruff-key that lines it up and get everything aligned properly before sliding it all back together for good.
Adrian's suggestions in his book are very helpful for every other step of the way!

Howard, I'd order one of those; easier than messing with a different part. Pelican can probably get it to you in 1 day through the regular mail.
