Wide open throttle
I've been having some problems with my throttle as the cable had stretched a little. I managed to take up the slack and now get full throttle with my pedal to the err plywood!
It's really easy to see the idle microswitch but I can't find Wide Open Throttle microswitch. I've read Adrian's book and checked all the sections which refer to it but can't find a decent picture of what I am looking for.
Could anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks
Adrian

Dear Adrian,
The WOT micro switch is mounted on the same assembly as the idle. Operated by the same mechanism. Just look over the assembly and you will see it.

Thanks Adrian,
I had a good finger fumble yesterday and thought I could feel it. The only problem seems to be that the idle microswitch has a definate click when I depress it, whereas if what I was feeling was the wide open throttle microswitch I fear it may have seized. Is this possible?
TIA
Adrian

The WOT switch is on the other side of the assembly (so as you look at it from the rear of the car, idle switch is on the left, WOT is on the right). Took me quite a while to find mine. If you push the throttle assembly fully forward do you hear it click then?

Adrian,
I checked mine as Dave suggested, on the throttle assy, move it by hand checkd the clicking noise.
I then pushed my Acc pedal to the as you say Plywood and got some wooden blocks to hold it there, wander back to the throttle *** and move it forward again to see if the WOT had been engaged, mine has by a country mile.
