Default 1991 undertray...worth keeping / selling?

The undertray was given to me when I bought the car....but it's taking up room in the basement.

I know most people pull them off, but is there any salable /usable value in these things--and if you're looking for a complete set in the chicago area, I might be your guy!

Honestly, I couldn't even give mine away years ago.
I ended up chucking it.

Very expensive to ship due to size, I’d hang on to it since its original to the car.

A new one, which I bought to my car last year, was ~12-1500USD

I am storing mine in an unheated shed. I don't think it will ever rust due to the thick layer of oily crud covering it.

This is an interesting time for a brief, informal poll: how many of us actually have the undertray on our cars? I don't,

Obviously I don't.

I have all the bits and hardware, but just seems like a lot of messaround when I need to look at the important bits.
and now it's just a messaround in my basement.

Mine is sitting at my mechanic's shop with about 15 others. I'm considering replacing it and adding a diaper to soak up the oil. The driveway is suffering and my temperature has been consistently at the 1/4 line.

Drove mine some in Florida summer. Has the pan - didn't seem to do anything that made me nervous, temperature-wise.

Not to kick off this debate again but: The fan is pumping ambient air down through the engine.. once the air gets under the motor, I don't see how it would make much difference. Perhaps not allowing the hot air to diffuse as quickly will increase the chance it will rise and be re-ingested from the top of the engine lid.

I would consider leaving mine off if I observe any leaks during the next oil change - just to keep an eye on stuff.

Default Undertray

I modified my undertray by cutting it into 3 sections. Rear section is the portion rear of the engine, Mid section is that directly under the engine, and Front section is that portion under the transmission. Keep the Rear and Front sections on the car and throw the middle section away. Helps a little in lower aero but also keeps road grim from trans and forward suspension mounts.
