To Fister or not to Fister

I just picked up a Fabspeed pre-muffler cat by-pass to go with the cup pipe I already have on the car. Should I go ahead and get the Fister or is that going to be overkill? Does anyone have a video of this set up with and without the Fister?
All help greatly appreciated!

Could you send me a sound clip of yours with the Fabspeed and cup pipe please?

JP,
I'm travelling currently but can get a clip next week on Tuesday when I'm back. I'll be back in town May 30 if you want to hear it in person, I think you're relatively close to me.

I have the primary bipass and the Fister and it sounds wonderful. I have been told that with those mods plus the cat bipass it's too loud. I am very happy with just the primary bipass and fister

My car is in the shop right now getting the stock cat/FVD primary/Fister secondary setup put on it. I've also got an FVD cat bypass on standby in case I'm not happy with the volume/sound of the initial setup. I've been running a stock cat/stock primary/G-pipe combo since I acquired the car about 9 years ago. While I often get compliments about how it sounded with that setup, I always felt that it sounded too much like a small block, domestic V-8. I'm hoping the new setup has a higher pitch, slightly more mechanical sound. I guess we'll see how it sounds when I get the car back.

Honestly, I think you should go for it - I sold my secondary a while back but if I could do it again, I would do it.
Sounds a little more "refined" than the cat bypass + seconday bypass (swan neck) that I have now.
That said, I really like my 964 to be loud, call me childish!

I'd install the cat bypass and cup pipe with the stock secondary first. You'll probably love it. If it's not enough for you, then send out the secondary for the Fister mod.

If you say the posted title 3 times fast, it sounds kind of creepy.

Before moving to headers, I ran a cat bypass, cup pipe, and Fister secondary for the better part of a year. Sounded incredible, if a bit on the loud side. But no highway drone in my experience. I have video but easier to share via Instagram if that's an option for you.
*EDIT: I should note that my cat bypass was an FVD straight pipe, not the Fabspeed bypass which has a resonator type muffler inside.
