Default Porsche 964 art car by Hanna Schönwald

This video should inspire an interesting discussion.

I'll start: I'd let her paint my Carrara White 997.2 4S...

Reminds me of a nightmare I had once where my (GP White) 964 started leaking oil out from between every single body panel, Amityville Horror style.

Her art is pretty cool but the 964 looks like a little kid went crazy with a marker while dad was napping.

Can't recall the name of the artist but there is another one who wrapped a 964 in white and used a sharpie. I think it if one were to do it that way it would be cool

Hanna's are seems like something out of the A-ha - Take on me music video. I think it's pretty cool

Who TF does anything to a car with a giant steel watch on? Another gimmick from the industry's worst marketing department.

Wrap the car in white, let her paint it, remove and stretch the wrap on frames, let her convince people that's art, drive your car looking like a 964. She said it all when she said a car is the resulting vision of many artist who created the car in the first place. The 911 is a classic sculpture that isn't necessarily improved by turning it into a canvas. That said - maybe she'd be great for a race team. In which case you wrap the car in white . . .

Pin striping on a 964…

All my friends know the low rider
The low rider is a little higher
Low rider drives a little slower
Low rider is a real goer

If Andy Warhol did that to the 964 it'll be worth millions! this one is ruined especially if that's the original paint. Hanna should have done canvas painting of Porsches to show her talent not on a real car for goodness sake.

It was art before she got her hands on it.

Oh the outrage! This thread sounds like we are a bunch of grumpy old white men! I've always sort of liked the art cars I've seen in the past. Especially on some of those early Porsche race cars.
I do sort of agree with wrapping it first and then letting her have her way with it!

I think it was wrapped first, thank goodness. Photos of her painting the car keep annoyingly popping up on my IG feed; there is one of her painting the driver's front fender where, on the inner fender/hood line, it looks to me like they didn't smooth the wrap out along that seam.

Personally, there's no outrage - I just didn't think it was very good.
