Just trying my best to decipher based on old tire coding, would guess 29th week of 1993 and 13th week of 1992 respectively.

^^^^this

these are pre 2000 6 digit date codes. First 3 are mfgr locator the last three the date, (weeks then single digit for year).
but anything with six digits is way too old for anything other than static display….

Tyre codes

DOT
CX = TOYO TIRE & RUBBER CO, LTD. IWANUMA CITY, MIYAGI JAPAN Tyre plant codes
UY = Tire size code
1L9 = Manufacturers internal codes
293 = Date code : week 29 1993

I'm amazed by their condition. Even with careful storage I would have expected some cracking on the sidewalls as the rubber dies out.

Thanks guys for the helpful info. I had the suspicion the tires were manufactured before 2000 as the last four digits did not match to a date code like I’m used to seeing. Otherwise, the tires definitely need to be replaced as I plan on doing some spirited backroad driving and doing that on 30 year old tires is unwise. Will get a set of Michelin PS4S’. Probably just gonna store the old tires in my basement as they are most likely the originals and they have already made it this long in remarkable condition.
