Any leads on where to find a pair of tear drop mirrors? Also, are they a straight swap with the flag mirrors? I have not had them side by side but it looks like the bases are different sizes, do the holes in the bodywork align? TIA

Be sure to get new OEM gaskets for the Cup mirrors. The aftermarket gaskets seem to deteriorate, and there will never be a more convenient time to replace them.

The base on the right and left are different so depending on what side your steering wheel is on, you need to make sure you get the right ones.
Ideally the car is original paint and you can polish away the flag "footprint."

FYI they are Aero mirrors not cup. First introduced on the 91 turbo. Then standard on all 92 on up Porsche's.

It seems in Europe and Australia they call them Cup mirrors, I said the same thing awhile back to a guy from England, lol.

You might have luck finding a used set with Mike at Autobahn - I think he had a few sets of RHD ones a while back. He gets all the OE parts from Singer conversions..

Assembly is tricky. They must have a specialist tool in the factory but can be done with two strong people. You will most likely need to cut the wires and reconnect to the new wire block that comes in the kit so possibly an auto electrician required. They cost 1029GBP plus paint.
