Default Replacing all my fuel lines 964 965 Turbo

I'm still dismantling then rebuilding this 965 or 964 Turbo. Sat for 20 years and rust came out of the rear fuel pump. I decided to replace all the fuel lines. Looks like all OE parts required. I started pricing through Auto Atlanta. I think they run a great service for OEM parts. It's around $5000 for most of the fuel system. Then add WUR rebuild and Fuel Head rebuild... $7000 total just on Fuel system. I already bought the injectors and Blocks with gaskets. Cold start valve and Timing valve are just expensive. Individual fuel lines the same? My opinion is that the same fuel sat in this car for 20 years? I believe that can break down and weaken the metals. My question is... Guessing this is my only choice? Buy new OE ?

If it were me - I'd buy OEM on the difficult bends and intricate pieces and then buy the right size fuel line and bend/flare accordingly for the rest. Save some money and have extra pride in ownership. You'd more than make up the difference with a very nice Snap-On or quality flare set.

I practice the building the line with NiCop and then when happy with the template, make it in stainless (much more difficult to bend but with a proper tool, not a problem). I've built several fuel and brake systems this way.

There are cheaper dealers than Auto Atlanta. I just checked Gaudin and your 3rd line down - 930-110-301-07 is $73.13 less at $132.28, the 2nd line 930-110-046-03 is about $40 less at $84.32.

Based on your list, it looks like Auto Atlanta is charging you over MSRP.

Don’t deal with Auto Atlanta go west to SunsetPorscheParts. Com
/ or do a general on line search for each part by number. Have found much better prices that way Arizona Parts or Rocky Mount Auto.
Also look at building your own fuel lines out of Aeroquip or similar product. I made and replaced all my fuel lines using parts from BAT Inc. at www.mocalusa.com - no affiliation The have all the parts you need to make/replace your lines and will also make lines for you at a much better price-

I can appreciate your desire to go new but sheesh that's one hell of a list , If I were you and I have a turbo which got stripped years ago but all these lines are in tact and when I reassemble it in the not to distant future I'll be using all original lines unless I find a serious defect in
some rubber or rubber insulated portion .
For that reason I would check for major perforation or damage and replace as necessary unless cost is of no concern go for it .
This is what FI,filters are for check the supply side of the system its only two or three hoses of course the injection it self is another story...
you have new injectors clear the rails and as mentioned have the fuel head rebuilt for good measure .
It sounds as though you have a decent amount of knowledge and it's not your first rodeo so go with your gut if buying new eases your mind for future problems help your self may have to make orders on most of that stuff , YMMV , Bert

Appreciate everyone's comments. I can't find the Frequency Valve. That Injector is $700. Should be $400 but it's over priced. Part number 47713307101
I checked with Sunset. Significant price difference!! I'll need to check with Gaudin also. @budge96 This turbo wasn't properly stored for 22 years. It's not worth it to me to chase and repair many avenues of this build after completion. Yes the fuel lines look good. But Mega rust came out of the rear fuel pump and two of the lines have rust on them. I used to buy all my 964's from California. I'm used to seeing any rust on fuel lines. Once the new ones arrive I'll cut open one for us to see.

I don’t have a 965 but have worked with cis jetronic cars, is it not common to switch the manifold and upgrade the fuel injection?

I might have to look that. Throwing $7000 in replacement parts and 2-3 parts are discontinued.

John, Looks like with 28% off retail I can buy new. But still need a set of Euro Injector lines. I'm not sure where to get those. The factory lines are tiny. We used to call those Euro lines, the lines we saw on the Grey Market 930's
