have you looked at the Porsche PCCM classic radio? Gives you the classic look but with a screen and modern features like CarPlay Bluetooth etc

I'm sure that Porsche PCCM radio is great, but that screen is USELESS.

Consider one of the Continental radios from Tore--I have had one for a while, been great,. Looks factory "enough". And doesn't break the bank.

If I had to do it over, I'd opt for a Bluetooth interface and a radio delete panel for the dash.

That's what I'd like to do but the Kenwood BT amp doesn't seem to be available anywhere here at the moment and I have no idea what alternatives exist that would fit.

Pretty much all single-DIN radios are somewhat compatible.
But you probably need an electrical adapter for most of them
What year is your 964?
But if you're going for the classic look like your old Radio, the only way to go is the Blaupunkt SQR46 DAB
