Default Speed bleeder for c4 diff lock install question

I decided to purchase a couple of M6x1 speed bleeder nipples for the two diff locks on my 964 c4. My question for those who might know: do I need to depressurize the system before I swap out the nipples? I know when I did my "borrow your teenager to operate the switch" method they would initially squirt out a very small amount of fluid, and then not much pressure/fluid beyond this.
Thanks in advance.

Did this on my own last year. The diff locks operate (v high pressure @ 200+ bar) from the switch manually or when driving and the PDAS figures out when to lock the front/rear depending on grip and conditions.

The small high press. 'squirt' volume is all that is required to move the piston and spindle. No need to depressurise - just a lengthy bleed when done. Someone else may chime in with other useful info.

Looking to do this soon as well. I believe @Goughary knows this process and is aware about the new seals needed for the bleeders.

Yes, @Goughary is the place for diff lock cylinder seals (and how-to's) if you need them. Plenty of threads re system bleeding - both manually or using the Bosch 'Hammer' tool.
