Default Pics of carbon fibre console

Probably too loud. I have the piece to go where the box is or the bottom switch piece, but my dummy switches are not here yet. I also put the red shifter back on to see if that would make the carbon fibre stand down a little. A little too shinny for me, but here it is anyway.

Here is a pic with the other piece and the black shift boot.

The carbon fibre picks up flash real bad and almost turns brown in the flash.

Here is before shots.

BTW, the cassette holder part is being replaced by a leather covered drink holder style piece so the only thing visible will be leather and carbon fibre. The plastic of the cassette holder does not match the carbon fibre.

One last picture. Same as top photo without carbon fibre.

Does anyone like carbon fibre? Just curious.

Doug,

The CF looks ok, the Gear stick is another matter......looks a bit S&M to me.......Maybe a dark grey like the last seat infill may compliment it better? IMHO, or am i just a Brit that's too reserved?

No, not a British thing. I do agree. I am just hopeful that it might look okay, but I know deep down inside it is too much. The wife didn't like it all. She does not like the red shifter or the carbon fibre.

Someone please take the red shifter from me. I try so hard to make it work out, but it doesn't. I am back to black shifter and I put the little box in the second or lower switch position and I think it looks good.

Doug why don't you keep the red boot and replace the shifter with the Carbon Aluminum head, the same golf ball type that is used on the 993?
I installed mine like that, all you need is a zip tie and a screw driver really and it looks great!

I'm with DJ, I think you can make the red boot work with a black or darker colored ****.

My 2 cents.
Keep the CF - looks very cool (and i love raw CF)
Ditch all the red interior stuff - too flashy for me

Looks much better now. I think the red accents gives it personality.
