Default 964 from 1990 International Auto Show-New York

Hi Everyone,

My dad is listing his 1990 Porsche Strosek 911C4 Widebody Targa. I will be putting it on the classifieds in one week, but wanted to let everyone know about it before I list it on Ebay in case a Rennlist member wants it.

This car was built by Strosek in Germany for the International Auto Show in New York. The original owner of this car raced Ferrari's. My dad has loved the car for about 1 year but it is too much for him.

Suspension is a full Strosek conversion which is a considerable upgrade to the standard Turbo package from Porsche, and includes Strosek front and rear springs, special gas shocks, modified front struts and a 1.5” lower profile.

The Strosek package is a $30,000 option. mileage is at 63,000.

I am beginning to write a classified here, which I dididn'tant to do....so if anyone wants more information (Doug... I'm counting on you), I will gladly pass on all info and pictures.

My dad is looking to fetch $42,000 for the car.

I'm interested in thoughts/comments as well

Notice the air ducts like Dove's blue cab.

This car, however, had all the work done at the factory...no kit.

targatime,
do you have a side profile shot? and a front quarter shot from further away?
Cheers

I think I know the angle of shot you were looking but unfortunately I dont have a total profile shot.

Let me know if you'd like me to retake one from that angle and I'll do it. I'll also forward additional pictures via private message.

I know what you mean...as soon as my dad saw it he was hooked. You should hear it...it has a stainless exhaust that sounds terrific.

Thanks for your comment

Hi Trader...yes...the wheels are O.Z. 3-piece lightweight alloys ( 9 x 17 front 10 x 17 rear ) with new Kuhmo tires.

I think the wheels have a bit of a RUF look to them, what do you think

Reeeeally love the front half of the car...the way it should have been from the factory, better proportioned

Are the front fenders whole pieces or weld on extras? Really love that bit

The front fender is not a weld on extra. That is how the car was built at the factory. If I ever need to replace my front bumper...it will be with one like this...I love the brake vents.
