Group poll: Aftermarket Seats
Hi All,
For those of you who have installed or tried aftermarket seats--Recaro et al, which make/model have you found to be the most comfortable for daily driving and distance driving, no track days?
Thanks.

The Cobra Misano's appear to be a nice alternative:
Check this thread for additional details.
I've had Recaro Pole Positions and SPG's in my car and I would not recommend either for a daily driver. The high, side bolsters make a entry/exit somewhat of a chore and the Nomex cloth is impossible to keep clean.
For street duty, I'd get some light, leather recliners like the Misano's. Konig's stuff looks pretty good, too. What's wrong with your stock seats?

I recently added a Corbeau Forza seat in my 65 911 - it replaced a vintage Recaro seat that I started to loose confidence in its structural integrity should I get a rear-end blow. I would NOT recommend this seat for a daily driver, in case anyone is considering it. I drove my 911 to California Speedway several weeks ago for the California Festival of Speed race that I was in, and to be honest, after the 1.5 hours to get there, I started to go numb in the crotch area....
....kinda makes me worry!
I thought you guys might find that helpful! It was nice on the track, though...

I have a set of Recaro SRD's in cloth and they are much more supportive compared to the stock seats and much nicer when it is hot outside. They are also much lighter than the full powered seats too.

Thanks all, for your responses.
Joey, there's nothing wrong with the stock seats. They just don't fit me very well. Not well enough to consider a long road trip without fidgeting quite a bit. If there was adjustable lumbar support and the thigh bolsters were adjustable, it would be an improvement.
