Lightbulb Porsche 964 Convertible Top issues

Hi
I have a 90 964 C2 Cab that the top does no close. I have tested the micro switches and motors and they work. Fuse 13 was also good.

So when I manually turned the rollers to the closed position the motors work and move rollers open position. Then press button to close and nothing happens, no movement, no noises.

Thanks

Tom

You may have a faulty cabrio controller. I had to replace mine once. Its not hard but its awkward being under the steering wheel side of the dash on US cars.

Be aware of original Porsche cab top modules being replaced by aftermarket ones;

For those DIY guys, here's the typical repair;

Just re-solder the pins above the red line!

Default Fixed

Thanks for all the help. It was the control unit that I had to have fixed. Key to whole installation was taking the drivers side seat out so you could lay on your back.
