2Swoosh: I'm near Morristown in northern NJ. The car hasn't been run in several years, so it needs a thorough 'once over'. Before that, though, it ran rough and was hard to start. It's also due for 20,000 mile service.

Not sure if they are near to you, I used them for a PPI on my 964 and they were very impressive. The wrench that did my car has or had, a 964 and they handle a lot of very high performance cars. After the PPI the boss called me to say if I didn't buy the car, he would.

I used this shop years ago and they did very good work. They are in the Rockaways and may have a shorter timeline than Dawes. https://www.pwr-tech.com

Apex Autowerks in Clifton, NJ (973) 859 0821 a true Porsche shop and they race them too. They were 2 hours from me (Cherry Hill) but well worth it and on schedule plus constant update from their front man Nick. The other one is Princeton Porsche but then again it's a dealer. Apex is only 22 miles from you. Good luck with your car man.
