Default 1992 American Roadster Colors

Out of the total production of 250 cars, does anyone know how many Midnight Blue cars were produced???
Thank you

I just checked the turbo look register hoping they would have an answer for you but even he does not have the counts.
Nachtblau is the best 964 color hands down!

Thanks. I think it's about a $10K premium if you can find a good one in that color. I see mostly red and black. Any thoughts?

I know they are out there b/c I came across a couple when I was looking for my car a while back. I would just be patient and wait for the car you want to pop up.

I just checked and the info has been removed. I know it was there not long ago. I tired to buy an AR in Cobalt blue and his site stated only 2 were produced. Unfortunately the deal fell through and that car was apparently the press release car for the US AR. It was a nice example despite being a complete respray. The color was good but it did not color shift like my 94 turbo.

At least you can see by the list that the colors are listed in order of quantities painted. Typically for US spec cars black, red, white and silver are the most common and IIRC quantities were in the 50's as you get down to the Wimbledon numbers drop to the teens or less and then to quantities of 2 or less as you get towards the bottom. Nachtblau or Midnight Blue is one of the more common metallic colors and is IIRC in the higher number range of what was painted.

I saw this one out in the wild a few weekends ago. Couldn’t believe it!
