Default Gearbox bracket powerflex bushings

I purchased some powerflex bushings for the small gearbox bracket

I was wondering if someone managed to remove the oem bushing from the bracket as I removed all the internal rubber and metal part but I think that there is still one metal inner ring that is not easy to remove and would like some tips in that case

Thanks

Grind through it and it'll be easy to pop out. Just be careful not to grind too far...

Ok Thanks

In fact what I tought to be a bushing ring was probably just an edge of the bracket itself

I grinded the imperfections and the edges to make it easier to insert the powerflex bushing and it went in without problems
