I just put factory 17'' Fuchs on my 1990 964 Targa, and swapped the stock suspension with Bilstein PSS10. Posting some photos for reference in case anyone's interested in doing the same. No spacers or steering stops needed. Looks just about right to me, although I may raise it a bit before getting an alignment and calling it a day.
Looks great. I had one of those temporary tops and sold it with my last Targa. Now I have another Targa but the tops appear to be NLA. Did you get yours recently and if so where?

One of the best purchases I've made for the car. Has two suction cups on each side that attach to the windows for windy days.

They're single-piece forged aluminum, bought new from Fuchs USA via All Star Tire in Long Beach CA. I put 7s in the front and 9s in the back (205/50R17, 255/40R17). The four wheels + black Porsche center caps cost me a cool $4500, but man do they look good.
