Default IG @raeven964 [Raven and Mystique (X-Men)] - One more Cobalt Blue Metallic

Most of you have seen my posts and inquiries from 2018, regarding my car. I loved it and waited a long time to make any mods— afraid that I might make mistakes and spend unnecessarily .

You all helped me in 2019 when I almost sold the car. Albeit most think I was asking far more than what the market value was. It was a personal deterrent as I know at that price, it will be rare for someone to pay that premium.

Then COVID happened. The car allowed me to destress, and be sane— through weekend driving tours and cars and coffee, I continued to further my relationship with the car.

And after waiting and finally knowing what I need to do, I finally purchased the updates I wanted and needed for it this year. This is my thread for the car I affectionally call Raven and Mystique.

Then 2019 came, same old car, still OEM. Yet continued to have fun.

Beauty, nice mods (though I’m not a rear wing guy, many like them), great color. Seems like you’ve made a great driver even better. Enjoy!

I was choosing between a duck tail, an RS Tail, a Turbo tail, or a Turbo S tail. For someone like me who has not driven a tuned/setup 964 longer than 15mins outside my own-- I genuinely was happy of the performance gain with the improve driving dynamics and handling. I mentioned in my FB post, I felt sorry for myself saving for so long, but at the same time, really appreciative i enjoyed the car as it was, and my current version.

thanks, Greg! It took a long while to really figure out what I want to do, and saving up real slow also helped ensure I stop my impulsiveness.

The paint and the gaps look fantastic, the wheels too.

It will take more than 2hrs for them to remove and reinstall the rocker panel — so I will try to DIY.

Digging the Ruf spoiler - a clean, understated addition. How do you like the PSS10s?

I definitely was gunning to get that look. I have been reading and researching a lot about the lip options for the 964 (RUF Lip, RS splitter, others). The front lip adds to the simplicity of the front, while making it look just a tad thicker and move from the rounded edges of the valance into the square-ish lines of the RUF lip. With me getting the FVD Air inlets and the Cup1 Wheels, it seems they all work together for the simpler look.

re the PSS10s, it is certainly an upgrade from the old 30yo shocks with crumbling rubber pieces. the springs are what they were on the old one, but the shocks were actually still sealed which was a surprise.
the PSS10s made the whole driving experience improved and inspired. The addition of the other suspension components probably helped, too, as well as the Wevo engine mounts. I am really enjoying the drive more than ever. The ride is not stiff and removed the floatiness of the old coilovers. it also feels lower, not just the looks, and felt grounded with more grip (but that could be the PS tires and close-to RS alignment,
