Default Power steering ATF?

I’m confused after reading old threads and service guides (happens often). Just don’t want to liquefy gaskets and harm the system...

Can I use this to top of my power steering fluid? Thanks in advance!

I use Dextron ATF in my cars. I can't find the STP multi-vehicle ATF on the STP website. Does it say that is meets the dextron spec?

I use Dextron too. It's readily available here in Michigan.
I don't think I'd try anything else.

Thanks guys! I thought I used this in my dad’s car and was thrown off the the ATF labeling on the quart bottle. Will recycle it.

Will look specifically for dexron II labeling over the weekend.

Like John said, Dex 3. As far as I can recall from my Mercedes days, Dex 2 is out of production.

Couldn’t find the exact bottle John mentioned, but the store clerk said this is what I need. Dex III, but can’t find it on the bottle... so I’m hesitant. Should I go for it. Thanks in advance

The product sheet for the Transmax Import Multi Vehicle shows Dexron IIIH specs:
https://msdspds.castrol.com/bpglis/F...PXE-AFE8UE.pdf

If the UPC matches that should be good to go.

Many, many thanks!
