Default Central locking

Hi List,
My little ball link is broken.
I explained this to the local Porsche dealer. They ordered me a replacement which is black and has a wrong thread size.
Does anyone know the correct part number please? (Pointing me at the Porsche classic site doesn't help)
TIA
John

That piece is not available. You may be able to find the entire rod assembly used, but the part (964 537 571 00) has been superseded and the replacement is a cheap ($4) fiberglass reinforced plastic rod. It should work fine for you.

999-168-021-40 Plastic Ball Cup. And it works.

That has to be one of the least expensive Porsche parts I have seen.

I'm not sure if I should start a new thread or not but it comes under the same 'Central Locking' heading so I'll carry on.

Having sorted the central locking on my keyring gizmo I find it doesn't work on my door key. Why?

TIA

John
