Default 964 Cup Matter Sticker

Hello,

Does someone have the correct size and the original position for this Matter Sticker for 964 Cup ?
Mine has been removed by the previous owner a while ago during a new paint.. :/

Thanks a lot for your help !

This sounds like a question for Bill, we can just wait for him to respond.

It should be located on the roll cage bar A pillar upright forward of the driver side window - you can see it in a couple of the interior pics here:

Thanks for your answer Nurburger
For the sticker position, it's very weird because, on this car and on some other, the sticker is here
I'm wondering if Matter stick it near the Steering Wheel for 92 Cup Car

In another blue Cup 1990 Car it behind the seat

My Cup is from 1991
I have ton of pictures of French Carrera Cup between 91 and 94, and there is..nothing, even on several cars !
I'm sharing a parts on this FB page for these who are interested
https://www.facebook.com/964Cup91

This picture is just 2h out after being bought new by the first owner

still nothing here

And into another car in 1991, nothing too

If someone have some new clue or more info on the position and the size, it will be perfect
Thanks !

Thanks for sharing that. I looked at several cup cars, and none of them appear to have the sticker anymore. The car pictured is actually an RS that was converted to a sort of Cup Car tribute. Pretty cool.

I believe the RS/NGT (RS Clubsport on 993’s) are factory rollcage cars with a similar Matter cage. I didn’t click the link so that car might be a converted RS into an NGT clone.

I have some pictures of the sticker on my RS NGT somewhere. The dimensions of the sticker are 9.9mm x 3.9 mm. On the RS NGT the sticker is found on the A-pillar cage tube.
The RS NGT cage is identical to the 964 Cup cage.
I have no pictures of Cup cars where the sticker can be seen. This leads me to assume that there might not have been any stickers on the A-pillar cage tube.

Thanks for all your reply!

For the size,
I'm asking because one of my source told me he have 105x37mm, but I'm not sure
On your side, Anatol, it's 99x39mm
That would be cool to have a third voice (and not another size haha )

And for the position, what I noticed, (it's just supposition based on several pictures)
For
  • Cup91 it's often on A or B position
  • Cup92 it's often on the D position
  • I see 1 RSR with C position ?

Thanks!

I will re-check my sticker on the RS, which is located on the D position, obviously. But hey, you appear to know more than the forum on this subject already! Why not stick that thing in the A position and be happy?

Yes you probably right
But I wanted to be sure and having other opinions.
At the final, yes I will stick it to the A position and it will be perfect !

Thanks a lot to take the time to doublecheck about the size

Late to this thread, but adding for future reference. I had my sticker preserved during restoration. It is located higher on the A pillar. The other stickers are from the Carrera cup and Supercup, but are no longer legible for the most part.
