Default Splitter Adhesive

Bought a RSR type splitter from FVD and to install it they recommend using WURTH Bond & Flex adhesive. I can see why.

Finding and buying the Bond & Seal is quite an effort. Does anyone know if 3M has a similar product that is readily available that works equally well? If not, I will have to buy 3 giant tubes.
Thanks

OK, Found the answer to my own question. ECS Tuning saved the day, they have WURTH adhesive in 70mL tubes. Not a lot of it in stock but enough.
I will leave this post up in case someone needs the reference in the future.

Wurth Spoiler Adhesive - 70 ml

ES#: 3673627 Mfg#: 89010031

So I was under the impression that FVD sold the Cult Werks Splitters. When I purchased them from Cult Werks directly they came as a kit with everything needed. I guess FVD doesn't sell it that way? The factory splitters came attached to the under-trays and were just riveted in place.

Hi Anthony,
You are correct, 3 1/8" or 3/16 rivet with little flanges. Looks weak to me.
I believe I saw it in a post or FVD's recommendation to use the Wurth in additional to the rivets. I will probably use screws with nylon lock nuts instead of rivets with small fender washer for good measure. The rivets just don't look robust enough. Maybe they are good enough but I lean to over doing things.

Rivets work fine. I have always screwed them on- like you want to do. But rivets (of the right size) would be perfectly adequate.
