Default Door wiring loom location

Hi all,

does someone have a drawing/s of the doors wiring looms and parts and their locations?

I have found the attached, but I don't have the routing and locations for the wiring through the door and where they connect to. I can't even certain I have the right loom, because my door grommet looks different.

I dont have pictures but have just done this on my 90 C2. PET section on doors will show the items to be connected. To get the round black connectors through the opening was hard, it is better to file away part of the surrounding clip to help in feeding the loom into the door.

The loom exits the round hole in the pic and then enters the door. Mine was stiff and hard to manipulate. Basically the loom splits in two, one side runs along near the bottom of the door to the lock solenoid and door handle sensor via a large round connector (which is held to the door by a screw) and a smaller connector for the sensor. The other wires go upwards (again the round connector is held to the door by a screw). The lower part of the loom is simple tbh but the other part is a pain as access is limited.

This second part connects to mirrors, mirror adjuster switch, alarm indicator, window switch/es and the window motor. I sent a line through the hole for the wing mirror to help pull up the wing mirror wires, then fed the wiring for the mirror adjuster and alarm indicator (located under the door top trim or hockey stick as its sometime known). Next came the connector for the window switches, again probably easier to pull from the top than feed from the bottom. The last connection to be done is the electric window motor connection which is a white square. Biggest issue is the lack of space and access for the wires going upwards. Small wires are held to the door by small grey push type circular clips in several places, look for the small holes in the door skin.

I hope this helps, but reading it back to myself it sounds like the ramblings of a madman!

I'll have to hold the wiring in hand and read your comment step by step! Let's see how it works out
