Paul,

If the car checks out and is as the owner says, I would say that would seem to be a fair price for the car. At least on my side of the pond. The pounds would translate to about $24,000 US I believe? Obviulsy the high mileage detracts or I think the car would be worth substantialy more. Good luck.

It must say on the options label, type 964-650 or 964-651 if RHD. It must have a VIN 10th digit of N for 1992.

Dear Paul,
Please make sure it is 100% genuine. 18 inch wheels fitted is a red flag. Their value is based on their rarity and orginality. Most of the ones I have seen, especially LHD are very much candy cars inside and out. Violet being a popular colour. I have also never seen one with anything on the engine lid. They also tend to be fully optioned up and mean fully optioned up. However the key is as I said in a previous post. The options label. It MUST say 964-650 or 964-651. Anything else is not a genuine TL. If the label is missing this is a huge red flag. PCGB authenticity check would then be required. Delivery documentation etc will also help. A copy of the options label is installed in the genuine original service record manual.
Ciao,
Adrian

Hi Adrian, Indeed the car does have the 964-650 label in the book and under the bonnet but just to make sure I have taken the chassis number and will phone Porsche tomorrow to guarantee it is a factory car.The car is well spec'd and is in great condition the only minusses are the mileage 108,000 miles,18 inch alloys and a turbo badge on the decklid??and some pealing on the instrument warning lights actually on the face of the oil pressure gauge dial...never seen this before.
Regards
Paul
