The car and the engine were converted around 2014 and after that it had only made 9000km

It was dynoed at 347 bhp and even if I don t know the exact spec of the engine the tuner in France that made it is well known to build most of the engines for Porsches 964 and 997 gt3 and gt2 used in Rally.

The base engine is from a 993 and it s 3.8l with ITB FVD intake system and remapped Motronic ecu Tusche Racing manifolds and exhaust different profile cams and engine work.

The wheels are Tramont correct spec replicas fitted with Michelin pilot sport cup 2 tyres.

Bilstein coilovers

H&R sway bars

Pagid brake pads

993 Turbo big brake kit front and rear

The car was originally black and was resprayed maritime blue when the body kit was installed

The gearbox is still the oem 5 gears with oem limited slip differential

Will be fitted with RS rubber bushings, 993 RS transmission mount, Tarett semi solid engine mounts, Rothsport quick shift kit, golden rod, steering poly bushings and brace, etc...

Stunning, you got a bargain there Personally I'd paint the underside of the side skirts and rear bumper black, but that's just personal preference.

I was looking at some of your pictures on the forum the last days when you were just writing about that parts in black... and I wasn t sure how it was on my car...

Usually from the pictures I would also prefer that in black but... my body kit in that part is not exactly like oem but is the more racy ( or fake ) version where there isn t a defined line for the underside as well as there isn t any joint lines between the left right and central parts of the rear bumper as it s all in one part. looking at that in real It s maybe ok like that.

Thanks for the comment

It just got to have some new little parts and somr fine tuning of that ITB to drive as it looks

Bert,
Sorry if you misunderstood my comment. The respray comment was joke about people's fear about decreasing a car's value... in general. Obviously not the case here. Plus, make it your own is fully supported by most of us on this forum.

Maxi_z has recently post a bunch of questions in other threads, and these were the first pictures we had seen of the car (or I had). Of course we are all blown away.
This is a positive place, where we share and support. Maybe some tough love here and there, but otherwise 99.9% positive.

Maxi_z, I hope you understood that too.

I knew it was a bad joke, and possibly easy to misunderstand given the medium of communication.

Back to "thumbs upping" posts & geeking out about 964s!
Best regards,
Udo

Looks great!

I got the joke about the color change, lol. There are some cars that have gone THIS long being pretty original and those might be best to leave alone but I think those are few and far between these days and the purist numbers have steadily been shrinking! Make it yours!

Absolutely beautiful. I hope my car grows up to be like this some day.

Stunning, but I am a bit biased. Reads a lot like my build but I am turbocharging mine. Mine was also black and I resprayed it maritime. Ar eyou running inboard or outboard front suspension? The fronts appear to have a larger lip than the 9 1/2" speedlines off an RSR I have.

I had a long battle with whether I should paint my lower rockers black or leave them blue. IMO it looks great either way. If you can swing a short gearbox 993 trans it would change things considerably. Otherwise it is a stunning ride and must get lots of looks.

Just for comparison so you can decide but I think the blue looks fine although they came black from the factory on the lighter colors. I don't have any good pictures of the car with the speedlines but this might give you an idea of what the black bottom looks like. Please excuse the messy garage.

I got that the respray thing was a joke about the resale value
About the suspension not sure what you mean
( let me know abou it ) but it s I thing the standard system with just bilstein coilovers.

For the black part as I replied those sideskirts and rear bumper seem to be made in a simplified way compared to oem and do not have a proper line to separate upper and lower part so probably in this case all painted is maybe better.... but I also think that if it was an original type of body kit I would probably choose them black...

I think Anthony is talking about the different mounting points for the suspension between narrow and wide body. When you go WB, you should (?) switch the front mounting points from the narrow to the WB points.

Ok I see I in fact didn t know about that difference

Are you talking about top mount position under the hood (but in that cas that would be like using camber adjustable top mounts and loose camber?) or are there different arms or adjustments on the lower arms?

Thanks
