Default Modified Kirk tool?

I am about to adjust valves with the engine in.... thought maybe a magnetic version would ease the effort.

Not sure if this was done before, bored the tool to accept a magnet (3/8 x 1-1/2 axially magnetized, ~9lb pull force ). Cut the end off the old and used a simple ear clamp to hold it together. Will report back if it works.

Eager to see how this works out. That’s my one gripe with the tool, it’s a juggle to keep it in place.
