Default Quick question about Prototipo Install

Hi all, just gathering the parts for my Prototipo steering wheel install. I am getting ready to order the airbag delete bridge and was wondering if I needed to buy this horn contact as well for my 1994 airbag car?

Thanks!

Yes you need that horn contact. You will remove the airbag clock spring and then install the horn contact. You may have to slightly bend the copper part to ensure it makes full contact with the hub as you turn the steering wheel. Note that you may or may not have your horn beep as you make a right or left turn, mine did on left turns. If that is the case, you stalk assembly needs to be moved slightly backwards to eliminate the annoying beeps. There is an adjusting screw at the 5 O'Clock position IIRC which you loosen, move the stalk ever so slightly back, and then tighten the screw again.

PS: If you need the steering wheel closer to you post install or want more space between the steering wheel and the stalks, let me know. I bought the Momo 15mm spacer thinking I would need it but I did not end up using it.

Good info, I recently swapped my stock wheel for a Mod.07 and my horn hasn't worked since. I figured it's the horn contact but I haven't pulled it apart to figure it out yet.
