You know the 964 is a very special 911 when Porsche's chief designer, Michael Mauer chooses to go all out and have AP Car Design custom build one. Nice touches everywhere:
A few details:
Construction on raw carrots,
1330 hours of work,
3,8 l, 311 HP, 382 kg, 1190 kg,
19 Inch Lemans, KW suspension, lots of detail solutions
Wow! Love that roll bar wrapped in Tartan... something I'd always wanted to do and now this helps envision it even more. Thanks for posting the cool pics.
With all respect to Singer and the other restomodders out there, I still think the 964 is the best executed original style 911. This AP car looks great without being long hooded and still looks like a 964.
The 964 is a great canvas to go in any direction, really. It looks incredible stock, heavily modified for the track, back-dated, etc. I love seeing everyone's visions come to life with this car.
