Default How do you adjust the throttle linkage?

How do you adjust the throttle linkage on a 964? With my pedal all the way to the plywood, the throttle doesn't rotate far enough to engage the WOT microswitch. Where is the turnbuckle (or similar device) to shorten the cable?

A related question, my throttle return spring is very weak. It sometimes fails to return the throttle far enough to close the idle microswitch. Is there just the one spring (wound around the throttle shaft), or is there supposed to be a second spring attached to the arm on the shaft?

If you pull the accelerator forward a bit, you will see a rod with a ball attached to the pedal. The ball end pulls out (it's kinda tight, so you might have to pull hard). Once that is disconnected, you can wiggle the rod to see how the mechanism works. At the point where the rod mechanism ends, it attaches to the accelerator cable which has a threaded end. There is some adjustment on the threaded end of the cable, and also under the car, where the accelerator cable housing ends, the end of the housing also has a "turnbuckle like" adjustment.

To find the housing ending under the car, find the accelerator cable where it is clipped to the side of the transmission housing, and follow it forward towards the center tube
