I purchased this fan a year or two ago as a spare. The fan was in excellent shape - no cracks, split ends, corrosion, etc. Its only issue was some peeling paint in a few spots.
A few weeks ago I stripped the fan to bare magnesium and then washed it thoroughly. This confirmed that the entire fan was crack free (and that it was manufactured in either 2000 or 2003). I then cleaned it once more with prep solvent before applying two coats of DupliColor etch primer, followed by three coats of a nice, bright DupliColor paint called “Radiant Silver”. Lastly, the fan received three coats of SprayMax 2k catalyzed automotive clear.
I’d like to start reducing the amount of 993 parts that I have in my shop, so I’ve decided to sell this fan. The price is $300, shipped within the US, PayPal only. If interested, please send a PM.
