Default 964 Cabriolet Windscreen Parts?

The straps on my windscreen are completely stretched out and one of them is even torn.

Anyone know if and where I can find replacement straps?

Or perhaps a DIY project?

Thanks!

Looks like you could find a similar elastic material on Amazon and make your own?

Had something similar on a tent i needed resewing. Took it to a tailor and they did an awesome job (commercial sewing machine). Just find elastic straps somewhere and take it to them. You may want to pin it together so they just have to sew it up.

Is your windstop OEM? Looks to be. I should have bought one last year when they were $450. Now over $900.

Yes, it's OEM. Man and I thought $450 was expensive!

I bought a used windscreen several years ago. My straps were similarly bad. The elastic in both had completely failed, and one was partially torn. In addition, the screen was torn on a couple corners, and some of the metal was showing from wear.

I purchased some exterior grade elastic from somewhere (fabric store if I recall) and did the stitching by hand.

I also found some screen material that matched the original color, and a pattern I was OK with and installed that myself. The rubber gasket was very difficult to remove as I recall.

A little black paint touch up and I’ve been happy with it for years.
