Default Aluminum Gas Cap

Purchased from FVD Brombacher, Germany. All aluminum construction. Not aluminum covered plastic! I didn't like the Allen head screws that held no function. So I removed them and drilled out the holes.

Yeah, except the Tequipment version is plastic with a faux alloy finish AND more expensive! I picked up one of these knock-offs and they are solid, well made and nicely finished for half the price.

No it doesn't, but being all alloy you know when it's on securely!

Very solid piece. Has some heft to it. No ratchet, just a substantial o-ring as shown in my last picture. Sits nicely on the rear-view mirror when filling-up whereas the factory red one just wanted to slide off.

Superior knock-off of the tequipment one for sure.

It's almost a shame to have it next to a $6.00 crappy plastic (no offense, we all have them) washer bottle cap. Does anyone make an improved WWS cap?
