Default Still in search of a good splitter

Not a cheap one. Have the cheap one I bought from TRE.

http://www.tremotorsports.com/cat_all.htm#TRE-C-1

This was a solid fiberglass piece that was not only chipped or cracked when received, but does not fit well. It was only like $ 165 or so and you get what you pay for.

I want to the 3.8 splitter like someone was selling on here a while back. Don't care about price as long as it is good quality and will fit. ANy help appreciated.

Also, would you paint the lower part and splitter red or leave it black.

Doug, this discussion may give you a couple more pieces of information, too.

https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...hreadid=113980

The difference in price from the Ruf piece is substantial ($350 vs $150) and the other splitters they carry are similar. I spoke with Peter at Rennspeed and he said the two top pieces in the link to Rennspeed are ready to go on (black) while the others will take a bit of fitting and preparation for paint.

Like you, I'm cautious because I'd rather pay the full amount than get something that looks thrown together. As you can see from the thread, a number of Rennlisters think pretty highly of them. If you have any other info, I'd appreciate it ... I'll be ordering pretty soon from somewhere!

Hope this helps. J
