Dear Ian,
Depends what it is and how urgent. For urgent stuff I have things shipped FEDEX and no so urgent I use the US postal system.
UPS and DHL are more expensive. Mind you DHL now deliver to the door.

PS: I do a huge amount (for a private person) of shipments to and from Switzerland to the UK and the USA.

Ian - I've used all the usual services for shipping from the US to Europe and tend to default to the good ol' US postal service (the equivalent of the Royal Mail) - again you might want to look up on their web site www.usps.com to get an estimate.

Are you talking about head unit? I sent it out out Fed Ex just because it is easiest to do from my office.

hi doug , i have a mcintosh 420 for the fronts , and a mcintosh 431m for the sub .............
as my 431 has a power meter and my 420 doesn't , i just bought a 420m with power meters ( so it will look nice when i open the lid !! )
this is what i need shipping . let me know how much i owe you for the fed-ex thing !!
