Default Fuel Pressure Regulator

Does anyone know where to find one of these? None in stock in the US and Germany, Pelican indicates they need to order from Germany and will take 4-8 weeks plus add 20% to the cost. I already know from talking to the local dealer there are none in Germany. The Bosch aftermarket equivalent is also not available, maybe someone has a spare sitting around they would like to sell. Guessing a quality recall may have pulled these all from the shelves . Part number is 928-110-198-04.

Thanks,

Is there a Bosch P/N stamped on it? Maybe you could find that number and search for the Bosch part. Same part, different box.

OMG 366 euros/$408 for what looks like a $20 part... I hope I'm not ever needing one if they are even available

The above is my spare, but it has a damaged vacuum hook up pipe. I fixed it with epoxy and it holds vacuum. I’d sell it for USD 100 given the damage.

Alternatively, there is a new Bosch one on our local EBay equivalent for ~ USD 140. Seller has 100% positive feedback. No affiliation but I can help as an intermediary if you can't find one elsewhere. I couldn’t warrant the condition of that as I don’t know the seller.

Fwiw- often times these oem manufacturer part numbers change- the old ones look to be unavailable and then the prices go way up. Meanwhile, there may be a newer part number for the same part, and they will be cheap.

So maybe there is a new Bosch part number to find...

It looks like Bosch discontinued these on 12/2017 without providing an alternative part number and unfortunately also discontinued around the same time, the only other 3.8Bar FPR that flows @ 40l/r.

Let's hope an aftermarket supplier picks up on this soon, I may drop a line to URO and see if they have interest.

Did you ask your dealer to check the inventory of other dealers in the USA? They normally only check the main distribution warehouses unless you ask. Best bet is to just order one from PAG and they will pull inventory once their internal order threshold is met. Unfortunately, Wiedeking took the just-in-time mantra a little too far back in the 1990s and the latest crop of German engineers-with-MBAs that have been running the show have only been more ruthless.

Jason, absolutely none at any US dealership or factory in Germany. Porsche would not even provide an ETA. I sent a new part suggestion to URO through their website, if others chimed in it might help. Click "Suggest a Part".
