I have a set of GHL headers / exhaust on our car. These were installed on the car when we brought her home. Subjectively, the car sounds a bit anemic by modern standards and it may be that I've grown accustomed to higher revving motors, but I wanted to know if there is a system(s) that people recommend. Also any appreciable performance gains apart from sound? Thanks.

Not a fan of GHL myself. Particularly I would stick with stock headers unless you are doing a full build. A simple cat delete or 100 cell cat and a simple magniflow and chip will give you great sound and decent performance. If you want more sound a cup style airbox and 4" Dansk tip. I haven't found many claims to be worth the expense otherwise. IMO.

I concur, although there is a bit of drone around 3000rpm on the highway. Not a problem once you get past 115km/h (70mph)

I did so much to mine when I had it built so I cant tell you an objective comparison but I will say that my RSR dual outlet setup is great. Wife dosen't complain about loudness.

Fabspeed’s exhaust is junk. If you’ve got the money for theirs, then you should be able to spend an extra grand and buy the best that’s made buy M&M in Germany and used by the factory race teams.
Segmented Welded, not mandrel bent. Best money can buy.

I went with the M&M setup also,long tube headers for better low end.
