Added my second C2 -- Slate Gray
I bid on this car in January and came up $2k short of it... just couldn't put the trigger. The 72 year old buyer reached out to me on IG a few weeks ago and told me the RS clutch was too heavy, the suspension too firm, the exhaust missing a center muffler (all good things for me!) and offered it to me for way below the selling price on BAT (way below my max bid). He just didn't want to go through the hassle of re-doing an auction and said he'd need 10k+ to get it where he wanted it. Unbelievable!! She still needs a little work, yes the rear bumper needs to get adjusted, but man... engine pulls, no leaks, paint is amazing, interior is perfect. Had these cup 1s waiting for her when she arrived yesterday.
Ordered new reflectors, gaskets, arrow mirrors, peddle kit and some other goodies last night.
My other C2 is in the shop doing a full reseal along with a bunch of other things. I'm going to have a hard time picking which one to drive!

Nice! Love slate grey and looks great on the cup1s!
Are you in the Atlanta area?
I feel like I've seen your red 964 being done by Eron (got mine corrected and coated by him a while back)

Congrats! Beautiful color combo. Slate grey and Burgundy just screams '90s. Glad it worked out for you in the end.
Going to need more photos with all the P cars together!

Thank you! I was really bummed that I didn't let my emotions get the best of me at the time and my non-logical side of the brain was telling me "it's only money". So glad I missed out and it came back around in this fashion. Now I can put the extra money back into the car to really dial everything in. They're right when they say you need $70-80k to really have a perfect 964. =X

Sometimes if it’s meant to be it just happens, glad it worked out for you in the end.
