car starts only when I release the key
Hi, let me try to describe my issue quick here.
Basically my car’s alternator was failing and the output voltage was being unstable so the battery cannot be charged ocassionally.
Before I drop my car to the garage the battery was pretty weak so I tried a few times to start the car. I am quite sure my ignition switch was good but now after the replacement of the new alternator , the car keeps turning over but never ignite until I release the key back to the ON position.
That’s a bit strange to me and the machenic mentioned about the fuel system is not syncing with the starter motor that’s why the car keep cranking without fuel.
new DME has been replaced but no luck, have anyone here experienced this before ? my car is a 90 c2 manual.
