Nice to see a collection of pictures that aren't on IG. Great shots! Also agreed about the pcar talk podcast, I've thoroughly enjoyed it so far. Nice to geek out over our cars without being judged

And here's my GR manual 964 C2. Picked it up last week. Got it locally from a Porsche/Ferrari/Shelby collector.... he had it since 2013 and treated it very well much like his Ferrari Dinos and other prized possessions. Dealers/flippers wanted it badly but he was more satisfied on selling it to someone who will appreciate & enjoy it. Luckily for me I was the very first to inquire and placed an immediate deposit after driving it and then inspecting it in & out.

Interior was tastefully modded just like I planned to do so a win-win for me. Was an AZ car and well-kept; zero rust.... excellent records and provenance along with a good lengthy maintenance history. It's stunning in & out and even the seals and trim pieces are either new or near-perfect. The 3.6's performance is so smooth, linear and strong. Drives, handles and tracks on the road well. A/C works great I was amazed and the shifter/clutch/trans is spot on.

Needless to say, got extremely lucky on this super clean gem and even came with an extra set of Fifteen-52 Outlaw 001 w/ R888s. I absolutely love driving it!

-------

And a shout out to Mike at PCarTalk who also owns a very fine GR 964.... plus always looking forward to their next podcast Porsche-talk episode!

Great intro post! Given the 964s at DRT, and your red gem, it looks like you are part of a wonderful 964 community. Love our interior! Want those seats...
Wheels and interior really make/change the 964!

Danke! My first aircooled.... been stuck with GT4/GT3 for awhile (no that's not a bad thing lol) but it's just as fun to drive a slower car, fast. I also have a Miata I track so I do appreciate smaller lower-HP cars so to speak. Last year I got screwed over on an Amethyst 964 deal so that kinda left a sour taste in my mouth but that's water under the bridge now.... plus I also looked/tested a few 993 and some G models but in the end a 964 is the sweet spot aircooled to get IMHO. Patience pays off. And yeah these Pole Position seats are great.... it's narrower up top shoulder area for me when compared to my GT4/GT3's Sport Buckets but not a big deal. I'm also thinking of changing the seat cushion covers in the future..... so many options to play with.

The first mod in queue for this 964 is the 6C wheel I recently ordered. Can't wait!

And speaking of DRT.... last week Pcartalk had 2 episodes covering that. DRT gets bigger & better every year!

Good episodes, keep 'em coming!

Here's another great footage via a friend's compilation.... Flat 6 Rebel

Got my Graphite Blue again as well lol... DRT is a fine multi-day event and the organizers are great!

I have been to Rennsport and Luftgekuhlt and DRT is certainly up there.... and arguably one of the best, if not the best, Porsche cars event in the east coast.

^Total stunner. That car has tons of detail to it such as the Maritime Blue brake calipers and interior bits. The host of P-Car talk is the owner--super nice guy.

Ask Mike at his Pcartalk podcast.... I believe he will be discussing his wheels and mods on his 964 soon. Awesome car!
