Callas Rennsport will give you the most thorough PPI humanly possible. Unfortunately they are over an hour away.

I spoke to TLG but they no longer do PPI's as they are too busy. TLG recommended Callas Rennsport and as Black 3.2 said they have an extensive PPI. I will try to get the seller to go there because virtually every PPI I have ever gotten was a total waste of time and I paid big money afterwards for repairs that would have been deal breakers. If they give the green light I know what I will be getting. Thanks for the help guys.

Callas knows these cars hands down. TLG good shop, SUPER busy.
You could just offer to have it flat bedded there.
There are other good shops, most I use are quite far from Woodland Hills though.

The definitely have exacting standards, and would be among my top preferences for a shop to maintain a car in like-new, completely stock condition. They seem to not be very pleased with modifications. Purists, to say the least, which is why multiple people apparently trust them to service cars like 959s.
They are pricey and busy. I believe I only got in because of their connection to to the history of my car.

Car is going to Callas today so fingers crossed. Seller is a great guy and I paid to have it shipped via enclosed trailer so he doesn't have to drive and, if it checks out, will ship it to my house direct. But I am just doing a mechanical PPI and their "full" PPI as the cost was a bit too ridiculous. With that in mind the paint was inspected with a paint meter it appears to never have been painted so that is good news and gives me confidence.

Must be an interesting car for them to take it on such short notice.
Remember, they are VERY thorough. They will catch many things other shops will have missed, and their techs will tend to magnify the seriousness of things they find vs. other shops.
By the same token, if you do decide to buy the car, Callas is a great place to get any work done that it may need. They are pricey but they will do it right the first time.
