Guard lsd cost?

I'd love to see what you are being offered for 1500-1700. That's below my cost to make them. +/-$3k is correct. The Club is a bit over and the Pro is a bit under that number. Only product even close to the quoted price is our service pack with ramps to rebuild factory GKN LSDs.

Pinion tool for 915s is a lot less $. What is the voodoo behind setting these up or making a tool at a reasonable price? Torsen makes great units for domestic cars well under $1000 ($700 for the good one) - and they aren't hard to install....but they aren't transaxle either. This segment is aching for competition, it seems.

I know who to send my trans to if Im shipping it. (hint: they're in this thread.) But does anyone have a recommendation for a builder in the Mid Atlantic, say between DC and NYC? Bonus points if they're near Philadelphia.

he seems reputable and knows the 964 and 993
I'm not from the area but i visited during an "on the road for work and need to see some cool cars." episode. he was very hospitable and immensely knowledgeable.

Tim is great. His engine builder did my 964 motor and has done a few for my fathers 911's over the last few decades. Unfortunately I don't believe he is the guy to go to for a built trans. Maybe Tim has someone else, I can certain ask. Thanks.

For Guard authorized dealers, Dougherty will be the closest to Philly. Down towards DC you've got Sloan at SSI or the guys at TPC. Going north there's a ton of options in Jersey. There's Body Motion, Precision, Powertech, Protosport and probably a couple others I'm not remembering off the top of my head.
