If you look closely at the PET, the turbo and turbo look (m491) have the same part number and the NB (whether C2 or C4) have the smaller wheel bearing and hub. They are beefed up for the turbo and then they carried them over to the turbo look.

999 053 050 01 = Bearing for Turbo and M491

928 331 065 07 = Wheel Hub for Turbo and Turbo/Look

I see what you are saying. The larger turbo rear trailing arms used on the Turbos & C4 widebody are different than the standard C4/C2. I was assuming you meant the NB C4. I do have spares but I don't want to part with them. IIRC the earlier rear hubs had a solid round centering ring hub vs the later which has a three part centering ring. If you can source the later it makes it easier for using smaller spacers.

I did source the actual hubs that were part of the trailing arms I bought. Yep, the widebody control arms have a slightly larger opening for the bearing which obviously changes the hub as well. (maybe 2mm?)

Control arm conversion done. Wheels are finally mounted. Need an alignment, but the 12's do fit.

Will have better pictures when I have time. How can black wheels look so good in person and terrible in pictures?

Wow 12's! What tire are you running Greg? I bet that thing would look great with a tail on it.

Hey bud, it most certainly DOES need a tail.

Well, I am not proud of the tires, but they will be swapped out. Before investing $1500 in good tires, I wanted to make certain my 12's would fit in the rear. I ultimately want to run 315's, but I decided to start with 305's. The big issue with that is, there is exactly ONE company that makes a street-legal 305/30/18 tire. Achilles. They are a cheap tire that actually gets good reviews from Mustang forums, but I can't imagine they are that great. I think they were less than $400 all in. Once I wail on the car and take some measurements, then I will buy the correct tires. Going with 12's, every mm counts so I wanted to get these sizes nailed down. Once thing I won't have is a car that rubs when I get on it.

Please let us know what offsets you are using. I am having 12" rear E88's made up soon and I believe I have the correct offset but wouldn't hurt to confirm.

Good work.

I will look up the offsets. I also want to get an alignment and push the car hard to make certain nothing rubs. I will report back.

My offsets are 18x9.5 ET48 and 18x12 ET10. The front does rub some. I ordered a new set of BBS e88's in the following sizes:

18x9 ET48
18x12 ET4

Are you sure that will fit? I find I can push out the factory speedlines 11ET5 out by a few mm but I think 14mm outboard is right to the edge or more. Are you running a very stiff suspension or negative camber.

It should fit. That will be more conservative than I am running right now. Right now I have 18x12 et10, but using a 10mm spacer which makes it an 18x12 et0.
