For those of you in Europe
I will be sending my CCU to the Italian company http://www.accinni.com/ Have talked to them and they said the costs will be around 200€. It is cheap considering that Porsche service wants 900€ for a refurbished unit. Will keep you posted.

I bought a used one today from Ebay for $230 US. I may still get my old one refurbished and keep as a spare...seemed like a good deal to me! Should arrive by end of next week.
Incidentally I emailed one of the used part yards (LA Porsche) they advertise used units for $350 - $450 on their site (with trade in) - they said they would sell me one for $600....sounds slippery and not to be trusted IMHO!
