Cheap Tranny mount stiffening.
I was looking at tranny mount stiffening options when I was introduced to a great product. It is amazing and stronger than anything I have ever dealt with in a material like this. Nothing like silicone. It dries pliable but rigid not unlike the rubber mount in the car and feels similar to the inserts sold for these applications. If you ever removed a windshiled sealed with this stuff you know how tough it is. At $10 a tube it is worth consideration.
It might also be a cheap fix for damaged suspension bushings fixing and stiffening them at the same time.

Haven't gotten that far. My tranny looks like this right now.
I did use a pry bar in the opening before and after it cured for 72 hours and it does appear to move quite a bit less. It will be a while before I can try it out but the material has the same strength and rigidity of the aftermarket inserts I have seen. I figured filling the gaps completely will be as good if not better than the inserts. Although there is no going back but I do have a spare stock bushing and a couple of transmissions i can rob one from if needed. This is for my track car and I was fine with it the way it was but figured I would give it a try.
