Do you have a c2 or a C4???

The "European" cap they have is the right one, but you want to buy the aluminum one and not the plastic one.

As to c2 vs C4, i have two motives...the normal small one you see everywhere...and a big one i use when i do a full fluid bleed/flush on a C4. Because i can fill it with 6-7 cans of fluid and i don't have to stop and add fluid to the motive mid-bleed like i do with the little one.

You'd need the European cap version (#0100 standard, #0109 for Black Label). Also, you'll need to either pinch the vent line out of the reservoir or remove it and cap the nipple with the 993 part. Otherwise you won't build any pressure.

But...if it's a C4 , you don't want to update to the 993 part...leave the old system in place and pinch the vent line.

thanks for the quick replies...i have the c2 and will probably just pinch the overflow line...i am shopping on amazon.de and they have one motive, with no model #...some generic and the pics show no cap at all, maybe i need to find another source more model specific...i can purchase from motive.com, in the states i think, but shipping is 1/2 again what the piece costs, STFAs or some such acronym...anyone have an idea shopping in germany?

Oh good...you have a c2...so you don't need the big one.

The plastic cap on the standard one is fine. And not an issue if you plan to use the motive dry. But the aluminum cap is good if you are going to fill the motive with fluid, as it's less likely to crack
