A week ago I nailed a chunk of tire thrown up by a car in front of me. It knocked the plate off the front of my car and trashed the cheap plastic license plate frame.


I never liked that plate holder anyway - it was a cheap piece of plastic crap. I've checked with US distributors FVD and Vertex, but no one has a solid aluminum plate holder. I've also surfed a bunch of the vanity plate makers websites - all they seem to have is the same - one-size-fits-all piece of plastic I had in the first place.

....so how about you guys on the other side of the pond - are you guys stuck with cheap plastic frame holders too? Where can I get the good stuff?

I've seen this firm advertising quite a bit recently - I've no idea if they're any good etc and I have no affiliation etc
